Fundraise at Open for Inspections
-
Make a donation for every attendee that comes through your open for inspection, auction, or display village on a selected day, or throughout the whole month of October.
Here’s how:
- Decide how much you will donate per attendee (e.g. $5 per person)
- Decide the date that you will run the fundraiser (e.g. Saturday 10 October is World Homelessness Day – a great day to raise awareness and funds!)
- Download your personalised campaign poster from your fundraising page and print to display on the day, giving attendees the option to also make a donation via your QR code
- Make sure your team is briefed about A Night Without Home, A Home for All Foundation and how your team will be raising funds on the day.
- Once you’re done for the day, count the total attendees and donate your pledged amount per person to your team’s page (make sure to tag the donation as: Open for Inspection).

Share your fundraising campaign
-
Sharing your participation in A Night Without Home can be done in a number of ways, and the more your network is reminded that you’re taking part, and connects with the cause, the more likely they are to donate or support you.
In-person
Print off your personalised campaign poster with QR code for easy access and donations - pop it up at your workplace to remind colleagues to give.
Direct emails and messages
The more personalised your messaging is, the more likely that your network will feel compelled to give. Let your family, friends and colleagues know your personal why for taking part in the campaign, and ask them to support in any way they can – by donating (big or small!) or sharing your campaign with their networks.
Social media
Bring your network along on the journey – share your reflections as you learn about homelessness in Australia, your experience in talking about the issue, and of course your experience of spending A Night Without Home. Download your ready-to-use assets here to help spread the word.
